This year 2013 - is the fifth children's festival organized by Arts-ED since year 2001. Heritage Heboh Children's Festival is held in conjunction with the George Town World Heritage Site Celebration on 7th July started 2012.
This ONE-DAY-ONLY festival for children and youth involves invited local artisans, craftsmen, cooks, etc who will transmit their skills and knowledge to young people through participatory and hands-on activities.
This one-day festival comprises interactive programmes with educational components to enable young people to experience, enjoy and learn culture and heritage, as well as present creative works using local knowledge and skills. Young participants are expected to benefit and learn skills from these activities.
Youth from various schools within Penang state will also showcase their talents through performances. We hope more children and youth participants aged between 8 to 18 years, and their families to participate.

欢迎前来感受青春洋溢的庆典气氛
一起闹翻乔治市！
“欢闹古迹嘉年华”是专为儿童及青少年而举办的活动，让他们透过活泼有趣且创意十足的活动，包括学习制作传统美食、手工艺、丝印T-恤、自制玩具，以及传统趣味游戏、古迹寻宝、青少年街头表演和创意艺术教育展等，体验、认识和学习不同族群的文化遗产。
这是一场趣味与知性兼具的嘉年华，势必让青少年亲身体验到乔治市与众不同的文化风貌！
关于“欢闹古迹嘉年华”
“欢闹古迹嘉年华”是配合2012 年7月7
日 乔治市入遗4周年庆典而举办的青少年文化古迹庆典。这是槟城艺术教育组织自2001
年以来第5次主办类似的活动。
在这一整天的庆典里，受邀主持活动的艺术家、手工艺师傅、传统小食师傅等将透过互动教学的方式，让儿童与青少年学习本地不同族群的传统文化与技艺，并运用这些知识与技艺创造出具创意的作品。 届时，槟州各地学校的学生也将透过各种表演，展现他们的才艺。
我们希望能吸引1千名8至18岁的各族群儿童和青少年及他们的家长前来参与其盛。
